Collins Quarter – Savannah
Their brunch is amazing. Also a great place to drink wines/ beers.
Montaluce – Dahlonega
Go upstairs for some serious winetasting with the most amazing view.
Merchants – Nashville
Go to the upstairs restaurant!
Barista Parlor – Nashville
Voted one of the best coffee shops in the USA and they didn’t lie. Awesome place.
Beast + Barrel – Chattanooga
Kingfish Kitchen & Cocktails – French Quarter, New Orleans
Cafe Amelie – French Quarter, New Orleans
Lovely garden where you can sip on your cocktail or have a tasty meal.
Leon’s – Decatur, Atlanta
Old gas station turned into a restaurant/bar. Love the atmosphere.
Buttermilk Kitchen – Buckhead, Atlanta
Only brunch and lunch!
Octane – Grant Park
I accidentaly found out about this place when I really needed coffee after my Sunday-morning-walk over the Farmersmarket at Grant Park. Octane and the Little Tart Bake Shop work together in this open-loft-like space. This means GREAT coffee and GREAT pastries all in one building. Are you alone like I was? No problemo: a lot of people come here to read their book or work on their computer while enjoying a coffee.
2 Urban Licks – Atlanta
For the more special occasion.
Barcelona Atlanta – Highlands, Atlanta
This is, as the name already suggests, a Spanish restaurant where you have small dishes (tapas) but also larger plates. The food is amazing and the atmosphere inside and on the large patio is great.
Wrecking bar – Little Five Points, Atlanta
My absolute favourite up until now. They actually brew their wide variety of beers themselves and are more than happy to tell you all about it or even give you a number of beers to taste before you pick your favourite one.
Smokebelly – Buckhead, Atlanta
Cafe Jonah and the Magical Attic – Buckhead, Atlanta
This restaurant could have come right out of a fairytail. On Sunday, they offer a buffet where you can eat as much as you like for $20.
The Brewhouse Cafe – Little Five Points, Atlanta
Love the Sweetwater IPA and sitting on the patio watching the busy street in front.
Bantam Pub – Old fourth warth, Atlanta
Casual beers and dinner.
Sotto Sotto – Highlands, Atlanta
C’sons – Lagrange
If you, for some reason, end up in LaGrange like I do, C’sons is the best restaurant to go. Maybe not the cosiest one but definitaly the best food.
Yama sushi – LaGrange
Lance and I introduced Thursday-Sushi-Day and so we go here every thursday with the collegues who want to join. They have good sushi and I am fan of the chicken skewers.
